Whether adding his own spin to unique genres such as gypsy swing, (Caravan) exploring improv with The Illuminati Outro, making the head nod indie jazz of Gradual Lean, melting faces with the swamp rock of Cary Ann Hearst and the Gun Street Girls, or using his computer for both good and evil... he is a part of an ever-growing community of musicians who are empowering themselves in the new music industry... 2006 has seen the release of Caravan’s "A Night in Samois", solo performances in Mexico as part of the International Guitar Festival, a soon to be released duo album with jazz guitarist, Joe Beck (Miles Davis, Paul Simon, James Brown) and plans for world peace. 2007 has included touring the southeast opening for Band of Horses, playing the Austin City Limits Festival with CAH, and squinting toward world peace. In addition, he teaches jazz guitar at the College of Charleston, composes for film and tv and collaborates with as many great musicians, songwriters, filmmakers, and human beings as possible...
